The location is stationed atop one of the areas' many rolling hills and necessitated the installation of a retaining wall and limestone outcropping. The patio features beautifully textured Sandy Creek Flagstone with a saw cut arcing outside edge.

We tailor our actions to the unique features of your environment and couple it with the use of geo-synthetic materials — as failures often occur when critical structural hardscape systems are applied incorrectly.

And, as the paver or stone you’ve chosen needs to look its best, we work with you every step of the way on pieces like pattern, cuts, joins, transitions, and colors.

Our design matched the stone, however execution exceeded the material’s ability to gravity stack, requiring additional engineering and structural reinforcement. The patio features Techo-Bloc’s Blu 45 slab to match the overlay we installed over their old concrete walkway.

Retaining Walls

Most homes have retaining walls, and they can serve a variety of purposes. Our extensive experience includes segmental blocks, boulders, and timbers.

In most hardscape elements, the success of a retaining wall system is in what you can not see. Drainage systems that have been constructed inappropriately or incorrectly can lead to failure of your wall’s systems, so we’re committed to installing our retaining wall systems to the highest possible National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) standards. We make sure that your wall is built right — and that it isn’t going anywhere.

Fire Pits

Is there anything better than a roaring fire pit on a summer or fall evening? Fire pits and other features can be as simple as an arrangement of boulders in a gravel patio, or as complex as a fireplace or fire table. We’ve got background in all of the above — not only in the design and construction, but the codes and regulations that need to be followed.

Hardscape structures like trellises and pergolas are wonderful additions to a landscape, creating conceptual destinations — not to mention a pergola can serve as a welcome shady location on a hot day. Our team is experienced in the construction of both custom and kit structures, in wood or synthetic materials.
