Raymond Road Complex Drainage Correction

PROJECT TYPE: Drainage, Hardscape

STATUS: Completed

LOCATION: Madison, WI

PROJECT OVERVIEW: The summer of 2018 included one of the most destructive rain events in Madison’s history.  Our clients unfortunately were affected by the storm. Heavy rains caused the city street to flood and back up towards the building and ultimately into the basement of one of the units. The damage prompted our clients to seek a plan from a Landscape Architect. The Architect drafted a complex plan featuring a well around the foundation constructed of Versa Lok retaining wall blocks and drainage system channeling storm water into an NDS Storm Chamber sequestration system.  The work involved extensive excavation to depths of 16 feet below grade and thousands of cubic yards of materials displaced. Final touches included a new Unilock Copthorne brick paver walkway and planting beds.
