Nakoma Front Stoop Makeover

PROJECT OVERVIEW: Located across the street from bustling Nakoma Country Club, this Mid-Century Modern home was in desperate need of a new front walkup. The existing steps composed of pavers over poured concrete were falling apart and the adjoined masonry planter was heaving. We worked with our clients to create a plan that would be functional and more fitting to their style. The old stoop was demolished and pieces of the planter were salvaged and reused in the new wall which we partnered with Hensen Masonry to construct. The new stair system is composed of imported Black Limestone and Unilock Beacon Hill smooth pavers. The handrails were custom fabricated by Custom Metals.
